Whit and I went to Mount Saleve today to get a view of the city and have a little picnic. We took a bus, walk, border crossing, walk, gondola, walk to get there. We headed up to the top for a gorgeous view of the whole Geneva area. We took a little "wike" (like a walk / hike) up to the top and munched on our picnic of bread, bleu de Gex fromage, pepperonies, apples and pears. We got some pictures taken of us, and then headed back down. On the wike back down is when Whitney pointed out that we have done more romantic things together than she has done with anyone else. I have to agree.
We were going to sit by the lake sipping some Processo on the way
home, but we checked our trusty weather app on our phones noting that a
thunderstorm was rolling in. So we headed back to the apartment to watch
the lightening and sheet of rain come closer and closer.
And
there is nothing more romantic than cool air below 90 degrees blowing
through the apartment after hot and humid weather since early last
week.
